Another Video Attempt

More and more of her happy personality emerges every day! I am seriously so thankful that I get to be at home with her to watch her grow and care for her. She brings a smile to my face. Yes, even when she cries (which she does in fact do at times).
Don't worry, I caught her before she tipped over.

We often take pictures and send them to Josh while he's at work, to tell him how much we miss and love him.
I'm going to try and post another video. We'll see how it goes. I think I'm getting a handle on this whole technology blogging thing...
Did it work? If so, I bet you have a smile on your face because she is so darn adorable.

Also, I am getting extremely excited about going to Georgia with Sam to see my family. 4 weeks!

Eating Blankets

Why is she so adorable? And every day she grows more and more beautiful! And she loves to eat blankets.

A Fun Weekend

We had a very fun weekend. Taylin came down from Rexburg to hang out. She showed me some of the exercises she did in her high school dance class. I will never underestimate a high school dancer. Ever. My arms and legs were basically jello all day.
We all drove out and saw Josh at work and brought him Zaxby's for lunch. Taylin missed her southern roots so we went to Zaxby's to reconnect with those zesty zaxbilicous chicken wings. Josh gave us the ultimate tour around his second home. Lots of greenhouses!

It was bright in the greenhouses so Sam isn't angry, just wishing she had a pair of sunglasses. :)

Taylin babysat for us so Josh and I went on a hot date to Wendy's (for a Frosty!) and we drove out in the country looking at our dream homes (with yards) while eating our Frosty's. We may be a bit house hungry. As much as we love taking Sam on dates with us, it was nice to be able to leave her home with Aunt Taylin and spend some time together, with just the two of us. :)

Got an updated, though unprofessional (iphone camera...) family picture on Sunday.
Sam's wishing she had sunglasses. Again.

I sure love my family. :)
Now here's some random pictures from our recent exciting life. :)

Hanging out!

She loves my finger. Chews on it, sucks on it, and holds it with her adorable little hands.

Golly, I cannot even describe the love I have for these two. It's a whole heck of a lot, though.

Josh and I went and performed proxy sealings in the temple. What a beautiful thing. I'm so glad to be sealed to him for time and all eternity and also thankful that we are able to help other families who have already passed on.

After church picture. Josh is either singing or yawning. :)
It's gonna be a good week.

In Motion

I'm not sure if this video will work. But give it a try. You might have to turn your head sideways to watch it. Still not very tech savvy.

A Walk in the Park

Notice it is light outside. Josh made it home from work before it was dark! So we took this rare opportunity and went for a walk in the park. I love walking hand in hand with the love of my life. It was a beautiful evening out.

Sam is so content to ride in the stroller. She's never able to stay awake. I think the vibrations just soothe her right to sleep.

Breakfast for Champions

This is why I usually stick to my oatmeal, fruit, or toast breakfast.

Attempt at waffle making #1
Attempt at waffle making #2
They actually look like waffles. A little bit. Maybe.
Abandon waffle attempt. Go for pancakes.
Sad, I know.
So, I settle for the breakfast of champions.

Happy Smiles

Samantha is growing up so fast! She's able to sit in her bumbo seat. She is almost rolling over. She is grasping and playing with toys. She is so smiley and happy. Most of the time, that is. She is such a joy! I am so thankful I get to be her mom.

Scripture Study

I usually do my scripture study in the morning as I eat breakfast. Here's how it usually goes. After feeding and changing Sam I go downstairs and put her in her swing, which is in the kitchen. She's all smiley and laughs as I talk to her and make my breakfast, which usually consists of oatmeal and/or toast and/or fruit. I sit down to eat my breakfast and I open my scriptures to start reading/studying. That's usually when Sam will start to cry/whine. When I can't concentrate anymore because of Sam's insistence on talking to me I pick her up and this is usually how I end up eating/reading.

And she's as happy as can be.

And so am I.

My morning person. :) She melts my heart from the get go.
