I don't know about you, but I bet Skyler's feeling 22!!! She came over last weekend and we celebrated her birthday. It was a blast of a weekend with her, as usual! We went to the movies, Inside Out (which basically spells out my life). We even brought Sam along, and she was such a well behaved girl! Josh sat in the aisle so that she couldn't climb the stairs that were calling her name. She ate a red vine, which kept her happily occupied for about 5 minutes, and then it was just a mess. I'm pretty sure that shirt will forever be red.
After the movie, we supped at Chili's, which was the perfect choice to fulfill my craving my Mexican, Josh's for an American hamburger, and Skyler's for a birthday steak. Sam was cranky (aka tired) and fussy the whole time, but the food was delicious.
Once we got home, we put Sam to bed, and Josh made some moist, chocolatey cupcakes with homemade cream cheese frosting, per birthday request. I made Skyler a picture frame that had a collage of me and her over the years. I also cleared Family Dollar out of all their extreme air head bites. Talk about best-sister-award. :) I'm glad that Skyler came down to celebrate her birthday with us.
22 years ago, a very special and talented and amazing sister was born into the world. She is accomplishing alot in her life right now. She is taking some very challenging classes for her engineering major at BYU. She is super artistically talented, in painting, drawing, and really anything artistic. She can knit! She always looks fashionably adorable. She's got a killer smile. She radiates confidence. She's very thoughtful of other people. Story telling is a gift that she shares so wonderfully. Happy birthday, Skyler! You are awesome.
Love, Aubrey
