The yard has been my favorite thing about buying a house. A fenced in yard. With the weather warming and springtime clearly in the air, Sam and I spend a lot of time outside. And it's nice because I close the fence in the driveway and then I don't have to worry about her running into the road. Josh is in his busy season at work so he doesn't have much time to do yard work. His list is a mile long, though. So I've been trying to do the dirty work, the little things that have to be done before the fun stuff can be done. So I've been trying to make his list more like 1/2 mile long, so that when he has more than half an hour to work in the yard he can start on the projects and not have to worry about moving wood or cutting down branches or pulling up the cement lining. Yard work is exhilarating, so it's a win win situation. :)
